On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Santa Perpètua de Mogoda became the epicenter of rhythmic gymnastics by hosting the First Gerosa Rhythmic Gymnastics Trophy. This event, organized by the Santa Perpètua Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, brought together more than 230 high-level gymnasts and up to 29 different sports clubs. In this post we explain how Rieusset, as official sponsor, experienced this exciting event.
A day filled with talent and effort
From the early hours of the morning until dusk, the Santa Perpètua Sports Pavilion was filled with energy and passion. Nearly thirty clubs from regions such as Catalonia, Aragón, Mallorca, and Andorra showcased their talent on the mat. The competition involved 62 coaches and was supervised by 8 national-level judges, who ensured the ethical and professional development of the event.
The Santa Perpètua Rhythmic Gymnastics Club stood out for its impeccable organization and the results obtained. Notable rankings such as those of Cataleya Miranda (Champion “Benjamin C” – 7 to 9 years), Lidia Solorzano (Champion “Infantil B” – 12 to 14 years) and Ainara García (Champion “Senior V” – 15 and older) are just some of the many achievements of the day, which also served to strengthen ties between clubs and promote values such as sportsmanship, camaraderie and empathy.
The Gerosa Innovation Award, presented by Jordi López
One of the most anticipated moments of the trophy event was the presentation of the Award for the Most Innovative Routine, aimed at recognizing the most creative and original performance of the day. This special award was given to Aroa Fuentes, from the Club Rítmica Vallesano of Cardedeu, for her flawless and innovative routine.
Jordi López, General Manager of Rieusset, had the honor of presenting this award. During the ceremony, he emphasized the importance of fostering talent and innovation in all areas, whether in sports or the business world. “At Rieusset, we value creativity as a driver of growth and improvement, and we are proud to recognize this spirit in young talents of rhythmic gymnastics,” said Jordi.
Our assesment of the collaboration
At Rieusset, and as part of the Gerosa Group, we believe that sponsoring the Santa Perpètua Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and events like the Gerosa Trophy is an opportunity to create a positive impact in our local community. This sponsorship not only promotes the development of sports but also reinforces values shared by both the Club and Rieusset, such as effort, dedication, and teamwork.
The success of the Gerosa Trophy reflects back on a collective effort: the impeccable organization carried out by the club, the dedication of coaches and judges, and the commitment of gymnasts and their families. Having contributed to making this event possible fills us with pride and motivates us to continue supporting initiatives that promote talent and sports. As a company based in Santa Perpètua, our goal with collaborations like this is to strengthen our bond with the community, support new generations, and promote our corporate values.
The first Gerosa Trophy has been a sporting success, but above all, it has served as a platform to inspire and bring together people from different regions around a shared passion: rhythmic gymnastics. We are confident that this collaboration will continue to yield excellent results and establish this event as a must-attend fixture on the Catalan sports calendar.
