International Beer Strategies Conference 2025
From April 28th to 30th, Rieusset, as part of the Gerosa Group, had the pleasure of attending the 27th edition of the International Beer Strategies Conference, held at the Cubex Centrum in Prague. In this edition, in addition to attending as participants, we were sponsors of the event, reaffirming our commitment to the European beer sector.
This annual meeting, organized by Arena International and Just Drinks, brought together the main players in the industry: manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and experts in innovation, marketing and sustainability. An ideal environment to share experiences, identify new opportunities for collaboration and keep abreast of the challenges and trends that mark the present and future of the sector.
We had our own stand for the duration of the two-day the event. From there we were able to present our label printing solutions for the brewing industry with personalized explanations to everyone who visited our stand, as well as provide product samples. The space allowed us to meet up with current customers and establish new relationships.
We received numerous visits, both from brands that already trust our solutions and from others that were looking for more sustainable labeling alternatives, advanced printing techniques, new suppliers or new ways to connect with their consumers through packaging. The direct interaction, the feedback received and the conversations held reaffirmed the importance of being present in these forums, where human contact and the exchange of technical knowledge go hand in hand.
Our presentation: beyond the label
One of the highlights of our participation was the presentation given on April 29th by Álvaro Jurado, our Sales & Business Development Manager at Rieusset, entitled: “Beyond the Label: GEROSA’s Expertise in Beer Branding”.
In the talk, we shared with the audience our more than 50 years of experience in the development of labels and flexible packaging, as well as success stories in the brewing industry. We talked about the potential of Peel-Off Labels as a tool for promotional and loyalty campaigns or personalized communication with consumers. We also presented our commitment to digital printing for short production runs, special promotions and the differentiation of beers on the shelf thanks to labels with variable data and designs.
The presentation also included a technical review of processes such as rotogravure and digital printing, a comparison of recycled and virgin materials, FSC certifications, and an analysis of how our innovations have accompanied the evolution of leading brands in the industry.
In addition to our participation as exhibitors and speakers, we also attended various thematic conferences throughout the two days. These sessions provided key ideas on sustainability, changing consumer habits, product innovation, and digitalization in the supply chain. Some of these ideas reinforce strategies that we are already implementing; others undoubtedly inspire new lines of work.
One of the greatest values of events like this one is the possibility of listening live to the concerns and aspirations of the different actors in the chain. Understanding the dynamics of production, distribution and consumption from the inside allows us to fine-tune our solutions so that they respond more precisely to the real needs of the market.
