The customer’s decision

 What are the customers to us? At Rieusset we consider that our customers are one of our fundamental pillars. That is why we believe that one of the keys to success of any organization is based on reflecting on the behavior of its customers, since, beyond their needs, customers decide to buy from one company, and not another, because something has moved them to take that action: an experience, a result, a mutually advantageous relationship…..

Therefore, one of the most important questions we ask ourselves every day is: Why do our customers buy from us? Why have they decided to rely on us and not on another company?

 

Why do people buy from us?

1. Excellence in service

We base our excellence in service on three fundamental pillars:

  • Productive flexibility
  • Delivery time compliance
  • Personalized customer service

 

 – Productive flexibility: This has always been one of the principal strong points of our company and during this past year and a half we have proven even more to be a company with great productive flexibility. We have experienced extremely complex situations caused by Covid and we have been able to adapt ourselves to all of them.

At the beginning of the pandemic, the difficulty centered on supplying larger volumes of product. Many food customers asked for more stock, even double, due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. We made decisions at different levels quickly and efficiently, from optimizing staff resources and production capacity to increasing our stock of raw materials.

After a few months, a problem arose with the supply of raw materials in Europe, which led to a shortage of some materials and a considerable rise in prices. We worked together with our customers and suppliers to find solutions that allowed us to cover supply needs both in time and quantity, without diminishing the quality of the product.

Finally, the instability of the pandemic made it difficult for some customers to have demand forecasts, which is why we received orders at very short notice. We worked hand in hand with our customers, in a closer, continuous way, improving communication with them to overcome these difficulties.

We have managed to adapt to the situation, accepting in some cases urgent orders, unplanned image changes and even scheduling changes, all in an effort to meet the changing needs of our customers in a complicated environment.

And still, despite all the setbacks, we have achieved 100% of the deliveries.

– Delivery time compliance:

One of the key factors in our company’s strategy lies in the strict compliance with deadlines and quantities; it is something with which we feel especially satisfied since it distinguishes us makes our customers value us.

We believe that a good planning strategy is the key to preventing problems and meeting delivery times, which is why we work with predictive planning.

This predictive planning allows us to minimize extra costs and plan stock reserves …among other advantages. How do we do it? Find out how: our method for complying with delivery times.

– Customer service: We offer end to end solutions. We accompany the customer during the entire process, from beginning to end.

  1. Preprinting: We are present from the most embryonic idea, from a change of image, a new edition of the product, a special promotion, etc. In this first phase, our sales team together with the preprinting department advises the customer or their design agency on the graphic and technical aspects of packaging (materials, weights, type of printing…) to guarantee optimal printing and its correct operation in the industrial application.
  2. We manufacture the product guaranteeing the highest quality.
  3. Post-production: Finally, we accompany the commissioning of the product on the customer’s machines to ensure correct operation.

The main benefit of collaborating and accompanying the customer from the very beginning is that we can inform them about the best solution for each product: that is, we can advise on the type of material, printing system, finishes … thus avoiding last minute unforeseen events.

This is how we transform our customer’s idea into reality, always with a close relationship.

 

2. Variety and quality of our products 

– 360º Service: We offer a global solution, working with rotogravure printing, digital printing or mixed digital-gravure solutions.

Digital printing complements rotogravure printing, allowing a greater variety of design options (materials, finishes, colors, visual effects, patterns…), the customization of packaging and labels and shorter runs.

– Flexibility in machinery: We have a fleet of machinery that allows us to ensure the quality of the final product, offering multiple solutions in printing and finishes, to meet a wide range of specifications established by the customer.

– Printing quality: rotogravure printing with which we can garantee constant and longlasting quality of the product in every delivery.

 

 

3. Sustainability and innovation

Innovation: Being part of the Gerosa Group, a reference group in the labeling and flexible packaging sector, allows us to innovate within our sector and offer our customers the latest tendencies in labeling, flexible packaging and sleeves.
