A more sustainable, safer and healthier future

 

Rieusset turns the company’s objective, expressed in the desire to achieve a more sustainable, safer and healthier future, into the slogan of its campaign for the coming years.

The creative process of the new campaign

 After a preliminary analysis of the company’s situation, its strengths and weaknesses, products, services, philosophy …, we have been able to verify that the company’s differentiation is not only based on its products (labels, sleeves and flexible packaging ), the services that accompany the product or the technology incorporated in the production process for their development, but on aspects related to the company’s philosophy and its way of working.

There is always a cheaper competitor or perhaps one with a larger portfolio of products and finishes, but Rieusset’s offering consists of a selection of products made with more sustainable materials and inks, produced through a healthier and safer way of working, via a proximity supply and distribution system, designed to reduce the carbon footprint, among other objectives.

It is a way of understanding work through values in which the company deeply believes and which are executed from the board of directors down to the most recently hired person, and which are simply a corporate philosophy at the service of a better future.

Therefore, the main challenge of the campaign that we are starting in 2022 is to be able to transmit the company’s objective to the fullest extent.

Rieusset’s strategic pillars and objective

In order to define Rieusset’s new campaign, we have started from the company’s objective and its four strategic axes:

– Environmental sustainability. Both Rieusset and the Gerosa group share the same great commitment in the fight against climate change; for this reason we carry out numerous actions to be more sustainable and respectful of the environment.

As a group, we have objectives in terms of sustainability, one of the most important ones being compliance with 10 of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). In addition, since 2019 we have voluntarily carried out an annual sustainability balance following the regulations of the Global Report Initiative (GRI) to publicize the current situation of the company in this matter and also ascertain points for improvement.

On the other hand, at Rieusset we work in various areas to reduce our consumption, recycle and recover our waste, and use 100% renewable and sustainable energy. All with the ultimate goal of reducing the carbon footprint.

– Social sustainability. Our social commitment goes beyond compliance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Principles of the International Labor Organization (ILO). At Rieusset we work with an ethical code that marks our path in all company relationships, with an equality plan to achieve a company where there is no place for discrimination in gender management and a health plan to promote and protect the health and well-being of our team. We also work towards the integration of groups at risk of social exclusion, such as single-parent families, immigrants or people with some type of physical or mental disability, among others. We interweave connections and collaborate with other local corporations and entities. And of course, we comply with all regulations to guarantee the safety of our workers since the well-being and happiness of our team is our priority. We are proud to have one of the most experienced workforces in the sector, in which various generations, of multiple nationalities and groups, coexist with enormous loyalty to work.

– Innovation. In our more than 150-year history that spans three centuries, we have had to make many fundamental changes to adapt ourselves and meet the needs and expectations of our clients. In order to do so, we have always bet on innovation, which is one of our fundamental pillars. Innovation has been in our DNA from the very start and has allowed us to always be up-to-date.

Throughout our history we have innovated in printing systems (the latest, digital printing), in materials, inks, finishes, delivery formats … Always innovating both in product and in process down to the smallest detail with the aim of making a difference.

– Industry 4.0. Our constant interest in technology has led us to opt for industry 4.0 in order to turn Rieusset into a more competitive, efficient and up-to-date company. We are firmly determined to implement this new philosophy that affects all the company’s departments in the coming years.

For this, we are working to become a paperless factory (with all our documentation in electronic format), a hyperconnected factory (machinery, factory, clients and suppliers all connected to each other) and a cybersafe company (100% secure computer processes) .

Based on these 4 strategic pillars, Rieusset defines its corporate purpose: to achieve a more sustainable, safer and healthier future.

How does all this materialize in a communications campaign?

In order to convey the concept of the campaign in an image, we have produced different pieces in which our own products convey the company’s objective: making visible that each label, sleeve or flexible packaging that we produce contributes to achieving “a more sustainable, safer and healthier future.”

  • Compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

  • Compliance with the Principles of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
  • Protecting the workforce made up of various generations, with different nationalities and groups, which offers us tremendous work loyalty
  • Reducing the carbon footprint.

We hope that this campaign will enable us to get closer to more companies that share our objectives; companies that understand what the new consumers are demanding of us: the creation of products and services that contribute to making a better world.
